At Congregation Beth Shalom, the well-being of our members and visitors is paramount. We are committed to maintaining a secure environment that allows everyone to pray, learn, and gather with peace of mind.

We partner with local law enforcement and utilize best practices recommended by Jewish community security organizations. Our onsite security measures may include monitored entrances, trained personnel, and ID checks during peak times or special events. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation when asked to follow certain guidelines – your vigilance helps us ensure a safer experience for all.

Please be aware of your surroundings and report any concerns to a staff member immediately. We’re all in this together.

We regularly review our security protocols to stay current with evolving needs. In addition, we offer occasional security briefings or presentations to educate our congregants on how to respond in various scenarios. Ultimately, we believe that a strong sense of community, combined with practical safety measures, reinforces our commitment to protecting and uplifting one another.
