Our dedicated Rabbi, administrative staff, and lay leaders are at the heart of Congregation Beth Shalom. Each individual brings unique talents and perspectives, helping us remain a vibrant home for Jewish learning, prayer, and connection.

Rabbi

• Rabbi K’vod Wieder – Senior Rabbi– Rabbi K’vod brings a warm and thoughtful approach to Jewish life rooted in connection, learning, spirituality, and community. He cares deeply about creating spaces where people feel welcome, relationships matter, and Jewish life feels meaningful across every stage of life.
• Rabbi Mark Zimmerman – Rabbi Emeritus – Visionary. Teacher. Community builder.  Rabbi Mark is passionate about bridging tradition with contemporary life, empowering members of all ages to grow in their Jewish identity.

Administrative Staff

• Executive Director: Howard Kaplan – Oversees daily operations – ensuring that programs, events, and facilities run smoothly. Advocates for organizational transparency and community engagement.
• Office Manager: Helene Urbaitel – Point person for membership inquiries, synagogue scheduling, marketing and volunteer coordination. A friendly face and a helpful guide for new and current members alike.
• Finance Manager:  Roberta London – Oversees all finances for the synagogue.
