Task Force Message 7/13

July 13, 2020

Dear Beth Shalom Family,

We hope this message finds you all well and you are enjoying the outdoors as much as the heat will allow.  Our hope was that this email would be filled with logistics and updated info on how we would be opening Beth Shalom to a small group of congregants this Shabbat morning, July 18thUnfortunately, due to the fluid circumstances around the pandemic, we will not be reopening the shul this Shabbat morning.

The reopening Task Force continues to meet on a regular basis to thoroughly discuss and assess the safest, most prudent way to begin to reintroduce more in-person attendance at Beth Shalom.  Our goal is always to appropriately evaluate the potential risks of infection and mitigate the transmission of the disease.

Our Plan is sound and remains in tack.  We look forward to moving on to the next phase when the environment around us is favorable.  The public health guidance changes rapidly, and we are committed to look for appropriate opportunities to gather in a safe, comfortable manner.  As we have been saying throughout this coronavirus ordeal, your safety continues to be our top priority.

Whether in-person or virtually, we are still a kehillah.  Each of you make Beth Shalom the warm, spiritual community that we are.  Thank you for your continued support and please know that Beth Shalom is always here for you in whatever way you need us.  As always please feel free to contact us with any questions, comments, or concerns.

Be well and stay safe,
