Task Force Message 6/30

June 30, 2020

Dear Beth Shalom Family,

We hope you are all well and enjoying the warmer weather while getting outdoors for some fresh air and a nice change of pace.  As we are all looking forward to any type of ‘normalcy’ during these crazy times, we are pleased to announce our initial Reopening Plan for Beth Shalom.

As we reported during the Annual Meeting, we are tentatively planning our initial Reopening on Shabbat morning, July 18, 2020.  The Task Force has been working hard to maximize the spiritual experience while keeping everyone safe.  The success of this next Phase of opening Beth Shalom counts on your engagement and trust.  We are confident that our Plan has an appropriate balance of social distancing and openness to create some connection for our kehilla.

To that end, please read through our Reopening Plan (click the picture below) so that everyone is on the same page around each of our responsibilities including the online registration and waiver, wearing masks, designated seating, etc.

The safety of each of you continues to be our top priority. This pandemic continues to challenge us in every way. It also reminds us how much of a kehillah, a community we are.  Even though the coronavirus has changed us forever; please know that Beth Shalom is here for you in whatever way you need us.  We all look forward to the time when everyone can come back to shul without worrying about COVID-19. Until that time, as always please feel free to contact us with any questions, comments, or concerns.

Be well and stay safe,
