Siyum HaB’chor Minyan
Wednesday, April 1st
8:30 AM In Person
Erev Pesach is the Fast of the First-Born, where first-born males would fast until the seder begins – in commemoration of the 10th plague from which first-born Israelites were spared. There is a long standing tradition to hold a siyum (a celebration marking the conclusion of study of a Talmudic tractate) followed by a breakfast. The reason for this is that anyone obligated to observe a private fast is permitted to break off their fast when attending a siyum.
Breakfast will follow the Minyan.
