B'NAI MITZVAH PROJECTS

Part of the B’nai Mitzvah program is for each child to pick a Mitzvah project that they feel strongly about.  We will be featuring these projects in our weekly blast and on our website.  Read about their projects and help the kids reach their goal.

Ellie Widis is being Bat Mitzvah of November 17, 2018. For her mitzvah project,  she is working with the  Backpack   Buddies program and is organizing a team to sort and pack food for the program once a month for the entire school year. We've created a Google form for people to sign-up if they are interested in helping out.  To sign up, CLICK HERE

Hello! My name is Naomi Kleber, and my Bat Mitzvah is on November 24, 2018. For my Mitzvah Project, I am collecting travel-sized toiletries for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. CHOA needs toiletries because when patients arrive, they often were not prepared to be there. Therefore, they do not have basic necessities like toiletries. There will be a bin in the education wing of the synagogue, near the main lobby upstairs, to donate any travel-sized toiletries.

Items most needed are:

  • toothbrushes
  • toothpaste
  • shampoo
  • conditioner
  • deodorant
  • feminine productshttps://ssl.gstatic.com/ui/v1/icons/mail/images/cleardot.gif

Thank you for helping my project be more impactful.
